The following are the answers to some of the questions you may have about the Health Bridges.
1. Do I have to have a bad back to use the Health Bridges?
No, you do not need to have a bad back to use the Bridges. The Bridges can be used for stretching, before or after sports activities, when doing yoga, or just as a preventative measure. Anyone who is concerned about about poor posture can use the Health Bridges.
2. Why three bridges?
The three steps allows a person to progress at their own pace. It allows you to correct your posture with the least pain and the most benefit. The three Bridges allows a person to see their own progress, to feel good about themself and in turn improves self-esteem.
3. Do I have to start on the Bridge #1 when I first start using the Health Bridges?
It is recommended that you start on the Bridge #1. You are introducing a new position to your body therefore you should take your time to achieve the maximum benefit. After you feel comfortable and can use Bridge # 1 for 10 minutes twice a day you are eady to move to the Bridge #2.
4.Can I alternate the #1, #2 and #3 Bridge or do I have to go stepwise, #1-#2-#3?
You can alternate back and forth between the Bridges. It is not necessary that, once you have passed Bridge #1 you remain on the Health Bridge #2 or Bridge #3. If you miss a day or two on the Bridges, then you may want to go back to the previous Bridges for a short time, but it is your decision as to whatever you feel most comfortable doing.
5. Do I need a chiropractor to help me use the Health Bridges?
The answer to this question is "No." You can use the Bridges without a chiropractor, just as long as you follow the directions very carefully.
6. Do I have to buy the Health Bridges through my chiropractor?

7. Where can I use the Health Bridges?
You can use the Bridges anywhere, anytime, anyplace. The only recommendation is that you lie on the Bridge on a hard, non-skid surface.
8. What types of surfaces should I not lie on, while on the bridge?
They should be used on a hard, flat non-skid surface as mentioned previously. A carpeted floor would be a good example. Most gyms have non-skid surfaces, so they would be ideal.
9. Which end of the Bridge should I lie on?
You should lie on the end where the slot is the lowest. In other words, you should place the edge of your buttocks on the end opposite the sticker. Your head should lie closest to the stickered end of the bridge.
10. Why is there a slot down the middle?
The slot down the middle is used to alleviate pressure off the spine.
11. How do I know when I'm ready to move on to the next bridge?
When you feel you can comfortably lie on the Bridge for 10 minutes twice a day. If you feel that you are ready to increase your stretch on the Health Bridge #1, then you may be ready for Bridge #2.
12. How old do I have to be to use the Bridges?
There is no real age limit on the Health Bridges. Anybody can use it, but it is recommended for people over the age of 13. Children under this age should be advised by a chiropracter.
13. I'm very tall, how can I get the best support from the Health Bridges?
All you have to do is simply move the Bridge further up your back until you feel the opening of the chest.
14. What can the Bolster sleeve be used for?
The Bolster sleeve can be used as a beginning bridge to ease the muscles into the new position so they are ready for Bridge #1. It can also be placed under the head for additional support while on Bridge #1. It can be placed under the knees for added comfort while using the bridge.
15. What do I stuff the bolster sleeve with?
The bolster sleeve can be stuffed with a towel or something similar to it. Ideally, it should be filled with a foam product.
16. If I feel that Bridge #1 is a little too much at the beginning, is there anything I can do to work my way up to the Bridge #1?
As stated in question #14, the bolster sleeve itself can be used to help you work up to Bridge #1. All you need to do is place one end of the Bolster under your head with the balance directly down your spine.
